NEW YORK - The Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and ESPN have unveiled the broadcast schedule for the 27th regular season, featuring an expanded coverage lineup that will bring more high-profile matchups to fans across the country.

The agreement between the WNBA and ESPN marks a significant milestone in the partnership between the league and the global sports network. ESPN+ will stream every regular season and playoff game, providing fans with unprecedented access to all the action.

The expanded coverage will showcase a diverse range of teams and players, highlighting the exceptional talent and competitiveness of the league. ESPN's industry-leading production team will provide expert commentary and analysis, enhancing the fan experience and storytelling throughout the season.

"We are thrilled to extend and expand our partnership with ESPN," said WNBA Commissioner Cathy Engelbert. "This landmark agreement demonstrates ESPN's commitment to investing in the growth and visibility of the WNBA. The increased coverage and accessibility will connect more fans to our incredible teams and athletes, inspiring the next generation of basketball players and supporters."

"The WNBA is a league on the rise, and we are committed to giving our fans the best possible viewing experience," said ESPN Senior Vice President of Programming & Acquisitions, ESPN Networks John Skipper. "This season's expanded coverage will not only showcase the game's top stars but also introduce new players and storylines to a wider audience."

The WNBA's 2023 regular season tips off on May 19th, with the highly anticipated rematch of last year's Championship Series between the Las Vegas Aces and Connecticut Sun. Fans can tune in to ESPN and ESPN+ to catch all the excitement throughout the season and playoffs.
