Game 7 Stanley Cup Finals 2019

Blues Win First Stanley Cup in Franchise History!

Jordan Binnington's 32 saves lead Blues to victory in Game 7

Ryan O'Reilly scores for the fourth straight game

The St. Louis Blues are Stanley Cup champions for the first time in franchise history. The Blues defeated the Boston Bruins 4-1 in Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final on Wednesday night at TD Garden in Boston.

Jordan Binnington made 32 saves for the Blues, while Ryan O'Reilly scored his fourth goal of the series. The Blues also got goals from David Perron, Brayden Schenn, and Zach Sanford.

The Bruins got their lone goal from Brad Marchand in the third period. Tuukka Rask made 28 saves for the Bruins.

The Blues victory is the culmination of a remarkable season. The team finished the regular season with a 45-28-9 record, good for third place in the Central Division. They then upset the Winnipeg Jets, Dallas Stars, and San Jose Sharks in the playoffs to reach the Stanley Cup Final.

The Bruins, meanwhile, finished the regular season with a 49-24-9 record, good for first place in the Atlantic Division. They then defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, and Carolina Hurricanes in the playoffs to reach the Stanley Cup Final.

The Stanley Cup Final was a back-and-forth affair, with each team winning two games at home. The Blues won Game 7 in a convincing fashion, however, to claim the franchise's first Stanley Cup.
